The 21 mile long paved
road that leads to the Needles Overlook is located along Hwy 191, approximately
halfway between Moab and Monticello. The end of the road offers visitors
spectacular views of the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park
and the colorful canyons carved by the Colorado and Green Rivers from the
vantage point high on a mesa top.
The photographs in this
photo tour were taken in September of 2004 and 2006. They highlight the
wonderous spectical of the Needles Overlook. Related links for Canyonlands
