Zion National Park is the southwestern most of the national parks in Utah, situated northeast of St. George and northwest of Kanab. It is one of the most popular of the state's parks due to the many geologic formations that make up its unique scenic beauty. The park is busiest during the summer months and is best visited in the spring and fall, or during milder winter climate.

The photographs in this photo tour were taken in late December of 2007. They highlight the scenic wonders found at Zion National Park. Related links for Zion National Park are listed near the bottom of this page.

	"Zion 001" Zion National Park in Southwestern Utah A leafless tree adorns the top of a rock outcropping, as seen along the park's west road.
	"Zion 003" Zion National Park in Southwestern Utah A small stand of bighorn sheep on the slopes near the park's famous tunnel.
	"Zion 004" Zion National Park in Southwestern Utah For the casual hiker, the trail to the tunnel canyon overlook offers excellent views across the center of the park.
	"Zion 005" Zion National Park in Southwestern Utah A pair of miter-shaped peaks as seen along the road to the lodge.
	"Zion 006" Zion National Park in Southwestern Utah A mule deer slowly makes its way across a small valley against the backdrop of snow-draped cliffs.
